Confirmation for Teens

Confirmation is derived from the Latin word confirmare – to strengthen. In this sense, Confirmation involves the reaffirmation of faith through the strengthening and renewal of one’s baptismal vows accomplished through prayer and the laying on of hands by a bishop.

Confirmation can be an exciting step in the faith journey. All Saints offers Confirmation to young people who want to make an adult profession of faith. The confirmation preparation involves asking questions, delving deeper into scripture and the baptismal covenant, and building a stronger commitment with God and the church.

Confirmations happen approximately once a year. Please contact our Associate Minister for Children and Youth if you are a youth that would like to be confirmed at All Saints.

Adults that are interested in confirmation should contact one of our clergy or the church office.
