Walking to The Cross
A Devotional For Lent
Holy Week: Clarity for the Journey
Let the same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus, who though he was in the form of God, did not regard equality with God as something to be exploited, but emptied himself, taking the form as a slave, being born in human likeness. And being found in human form, he humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. – Philippians 2: 5-8
“Become as Christ!” A tall order for all of us. Yet, I hope your Lenten journey has led you to a new understanding of God’s will for your life. May you recognize God’s calling in your life, and like Christ, may you walk boldly into that vision.
Loving God, may the teachings and actions of Christ Jesus more deeply inform and direct my life. Amen.
